The leader of the Movement for the Emancipation Niger Delta(M.E.N.D), Mr Henry Okah was today convicted by a south guateng high court in Johannesburg and sentenced to 24 years imprisonment for Independence day bombing which claimed the life of about 13 people. Mr Okah was found guilty on 13 counts of terrorism, including engaging in terrorist activities, conspiracy to engage in terrorist activities, and delivering, placing, and detonating an explosive device.
