Funmi Lawal is the UNILAG law graduate who was diagnosed with malignant sarcoma, a kind of cancer at the shoulder region, who Some good Nigerians raised money for last year. Don jazzy donated 2m for her treatment while Rukky Sandaz gave her 500 thousand naira, same with Tonto Dike and some other celebrities who gave a couple of bucks.unfortunately she still didn't make it. She died this morning at the Lagos State University College of Medicine. The cancer had spread to her lungs and she had completely lost the ability to breathe without a respirator. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
